Temporary Cash Assistance is a short-term cash assistance program for needy families with dependent children when available resources do not fully address the family's needs. Participants are engaged in employment readiness activities to prepare the family for independence through work.

Temporary Disability Assistance Program (TDAP)

The Temporary Disability Assistance Program is cash assistance program for disabled adults without dependent children awaiting approval of federal disability support. The state funded program requires participants with a disability of twelve months or more to apply for Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
